A long strip of lush green land, bordered by narrow white beaches, extends out into the sea. This offshoot of land is the Curonian Spit, washed by the Baltic Sea on one side and the Curonian Lagoon on the other.
Located there, in the UNESCO-recognised Curonian Spit National Park, is Neringa resort. The breathtaking landscapes and unique cultural heritage transform Neringa from a resort into a muse that provides inspiration for painters, photographers and writers from all over the world.
It is the resort’s forest and wildlife, the 50km bike road (that connects the resort with the Seaside Bike Circuit and EuroVelo 10 international bicycle route), and the endless white sand beaches, that make Neringa an incredible place to visit. The many tennis courts, the variety of pedestrian trails and the wide range of water sports available also plays a part. And this is all in the safe hands of the kind and welcoming local Curonians.
